Menus are the main way your fans with navigate around your site. By default, there will be a Main Menu at the top of your site which will be populated with pages and categories as you make them.

You can also enable a Secondary Menu, which will appear above the main menu in a smaller menu bar.

To customize your menus, or add a Secondary Menu:

  1. Go to the Menus section of the admin

    This is available from Appearance > Menus in the admin menu, or Your Site Name > Menus in the toolbar from the frontend of your site.

  2. Create the Menu

    Give your menu a name, check the location you want the menu to appear in (Primary or Secondary), and click Create Menu.
    If you want you can also check “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu”. This will automatically add pages to the menu as you create them.

  3. Add items to the menu

    On the left, check the items you want to add to the menu and then click “Add to Menu”. You can add Pages, Posts, Custom Links and Categories to the menu.

  4. Reorder the menu items

    Drag and drop the menu items to reorder them.
    You can change the link text by clicking the downarrow and renaming.
    You can nest link by dragging them to the right. This will place the links in flyout menus when you hover over the parent link.

  5. Click Save Menu
